Hitman 2: Silent Assasin

Hitman 2: Silent Assassin puts you in the role of a hitman codename 47.
A sequel to Hitman: Code 47, this game is entirely new and polished.
Through the missions you
have set objectives you must complete. The entire game is based on finding
your friend, a Catholic Priest Father Vittorio. Many of the missions
have you go into a foreign location put on a disguise and go inside without
being noticed for whom you are, a hitman with a contract. Most of the
missions are non-linear; either go in with stealth or
guns blazing. You are rewarded with your stealth, after each mission
you are graded for the tasks you have done. If you come in and finish
your objectives and walk out without
anyone noticing you get a Silent Assassin title for the level. Getting
these grants you weapons such as a sawed-off shotgun with isn’t
silent at all. The only thing noted as a downfall is you cannot jump
or roll and lie prone. You cannot also climb over objects, which can
be a hassle. You have an arsenal of weapons including sniper rifles,
sub-machine guns, pistols, knives, and a fibrewire for strangling from
behind. There are also non-lethal ways of killing people like with
anaesthetic or just punching the guy until he’s knocked out.
You are only aloud to carry one large weapon like a sniper rifle or
sub-machine gun. In conclusion this is
a great game. This game has two aspects that I’ve never seen
put in so well, action and stealth. Those two aspects make up this
game for what it is, and it is good. Possibly Game of the Year, but
we’ll have to see. So go out and buy this if you
are like me and have fun in these sort of games.
I
give it a 9.5/10.
